The nails were originally hand forged in 1815 and earlier! A minimum of 210 years old with the centuries of patina intact! Were first used in building a homestead in the Dakota Territories 74 years before becoming South Dakota and North Dakota!

The crucifix is created from 1.5" and 1” inch tall iron nails hand-forged in 1815 or before! Made by blacksmiths using fire, anvil, a huge hammer and lots of blacksmith's sweat!

The necklace chain choices (see pictures) include a variety of antique copper, silver, gold, antique bronze, black, bright copper and more to choose from!

The wire on the crucifix pictured is antique copper but is also available in stainless steel, black, bright copper, gunmetal grey, antique bronze, emerald green (for our Irish Isle folks!), bright red, dark red, blue, yellow gold and more to choose from!
