The nails were originally hand forged in 1815 and earlier! A minimum of 210 years old with the centuries of patina intact! Were first used in building a homestead in the Dakota Territories 74 years before becoming South Dakota and North Dakota!

2.5 inch iron nails hand-forged in 1815 or before! Made by blacksmiths using fire, anvil, a huge hammer and lots of blacksmith's sweat!

The necklace chain choices (see picture) are silver, gold, antique bronze, black and copper and more!

The wire on the crucifix will be textured gold plated jewelry wire, but is also available in antique copper, sterling silver, black, bright copper, gunmetal grey, gunmetal bronze, red, dark red, emerald green, blue, yellow and more!
